Notes

Pads 3 and 4 are plain GPIO (G5/G4) in the vendor's PORT.A table, and the port is not an I2C port here even though it is called PORT.A - the board's own I2C is the expander on G8/G10. The PI4IOE5V6408 address is not published, so addresses is empty. Data sheet is Semtech's SX1261/2 PDF, the document the vendor's own docs page serves for the radio; no pull-up or decoupling values are published for this SKU and none are invented.

AI context

Dense context for pasting into a model prompt — addresses, pinout, voltages, tolerances and the vendor's reference circuit.

PART: M5Stack Unit C6L, SKU U202, a 62.0 x 24.0 x 8.0 mm (13.6 g) LoRa unit: an ESP32-C6 (RISC-V 32-bit single core at 160 MHz, 16 MB flash) with an SX1262 radio, a PI4IOE5V6408 IO expander, a 0.66 inch 64 x 48 SSD1306 monochrome OLED, one WS2812C RGB LED, a buzzer and two RP-SMA antenna connectors (Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and LoRa 868 MHz). It ships with Meshtastic firmware. The title carries both chips, so part is null and the data sheet is Semtech's SX1261/2 document.\nADDRESSES: none published. The PI4IOE5V6408 expander is an I2C device but the vendor publishes no address for it, and the SSD1306 sits on SPI here (G6 CS, G21 MOSI, G20 SCK, G18 DC, G15 RST) rather than at its usual 0x3C.\nPINOUT: one HY2.0-4P socket, PORT.A: pad 1 GND (Black), pad 2 5V (Red), pad 3 G5 (Yellow), pad 4 G4 (White). The connector prints no numbers; 1-4 follow the vendor's colour column. Internal wiring, from the vendor's own tables: the radio is on G21 MOSI, G22 MISO, G20 SCK, G23 CS, G19 BUSY, G7 IRQ, with LNA enable, antenna switch and reset driven from the expander's P5/P6/P7; the expander itself is on G8 SCL and G10 SDA with its INT on G3 and reset on ESP_RST; the buzzer is G11, the RGB LED data is G2, the user key SYS_KEY1 is on expander P0, and USB is G13 D+ / G12 D-.\nSUPPLY: 5 V on USB Type-C or on pad 2. Published draw: 696.86 uA asleep on the Grove socket, 866.42 uA asleep on USB, 85.18 mA in LoRa RX standby, 80.02 mA at maximum continuous LoRa TX.\nLOGIC: 3.3 V. The HY2.0 pads carry G5/G4 straight from the ESP32-C6, so they are 3.3 V I/O with no level shifting and no 5 V tolerance published.\nCIRCUIT: the vendor publishes no pull-up or decoupling values on the docs page for this SKU - what it does publish is the SX1261/2 data sheet and the schematic PDF cited below. The radio's LNA enable, RF switch and reset are all behind the PI4IOE5V6408, not on the ESP32's GPIO.\nTRAPS: (1) The OLED is on SPI, not I2C - a driver looking for a 0x3C display finds nothing. (2) Three radio control lines (SX_LNA_EN, SX_ANT_SW, SX_NRST) are on the expander, so the expander has to be alive before the radio will transmit. (3) The two SMA connectors are not interchangeable: one is 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at 3 dBi, the other 868 MHz LoRa at 3 dBi. (4) The unit ships as a Meshtastic node, so the stock firmware owns the radio and the OLED until reflashed.
